Every worship service, every youth group, every dinner is a result of many spirit-filled individuals combining their gifts and working together in order to further develop God’s kingdom. We invite everyone…

Where Do We Help?

WHERE DO WE HELP? By Angela Brooks, Director of Community Outreach I feel like I am on a merry-go-round and I can’t find one thing to focus on to get my bearings. Charlottesville, Harvey, Irma, the list seems to expand every day. I was confused and overwhelmed two months before all of our nation’s most recent tragedies occurred. Where do we help? How do we help? How do I not sit in the fetal position and hope for it all to…

Restorative Justice Louisville, Inc (RJL) understands that the criminal justice system can provide a lot of resources to respond to juvenile crime, but by providing additional support they can help prevent a hopeless cycle. The St. Paul Justice Team will fund a Restorative Justice facilitator training…

This Is Where You Belong

This Is Where You Belong written by Nicole Farmer, Administrative Coordinator Have you ever wondered if you really belong? Maybe it was in a certain social setting, at work, in school, or perhaps even in your own family. Sometimes that sense of rejection seems like it just won’t let go. Whether or not you were actually an orphan growing up in a grueling foster care system, it’s possible to have an orphan mindset. It’s like carrying a heavy burden of…

St. Paul Serves

St. Paul Serves By Angela Brooks, Director of Community Outreach Over 2,000 years ago, Paul instructs his student that he is to teach other Christians that: They are to do good, to be rich in good works, generous, and ready to share.” 1 Timothy 6:18 They are to do good, to be rich in good works, generous, and ready to share.” 1 TIMOTHY 6:18 Paul’s instructions include no exceptions on generosity. We Believe

We Believe by Jim Rittenhouse, Associate Director of Music Ministries “We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal…” These immortal words of Thomas Jefferson indelibly carved into the soul of our nation have been the cornerstone of so much of our public and private belief systems. This is a given – this is something we can all agree to hold dear, the baseline of who we are as a nation, and a bedrock of what we…
