March 2024 Urgent Needs List

The United Methodist Mountain Mission has been serving eastern Kentucky since 1943. Its eight Opportunity Stores that “provide gently used clothing and household items at a reasonable price” for those in the areas of Barbourville, Irvine, Harlan, Hazard, Jackson, Pineville, West Liberty, and Burkesville.

A Mountain Mission truck arrives at St. Paul several times per year to pick donated clothing, household items, furniture, and more to stock their Opportunity stores.

In 2024, the Mountain Mission truck will be at St. Paul on Tuesdays, March 19, July 16, and December 3. All donated items need to be dropped off at St. Paul by 2:00pm on the day before pickup. Please do not drop off items on the pick-up date, as we don’t know exactly what time the truck will arrive.
