Tickets & Times for the 45th Louisville Boar’s Head and Yule Log Festival

Louisville Boar’s Head & Yule Log Festival will return with four in-person performances this December 2024. Performances will be held in the St. Paul sanctuary on Sunday, December 29 & Monday, December 30 at 5:30pm & 8:00pm.

Following each performance, guests are invited to a reception in McAdams Hall where they may greet the cast, enjoy wassail and other treats, and may even have a picture taken with the Boar!

Free tickets will be available beginning December 12 by:

  • ordering online
  • emailing genie@stpaulchurchky.org
  • stopping by during box office hours
    • Boar’s Head Tickets office hours are:
      (10am-2pm) December 12,16,17, 18, 19, 23,26,30 and also
      on Sundays (December 15, 22, 29) from 10-10:50am, and 12-12:30pm.
  • calling the church office at 502.459.1595, Monday-Thursday from 10am-2pm.

Performance tickets are free, but a voluntary offering of deordorant, lip balm, or bar soap will be collected to support the St. Paul Resource Center.

About the Festival
Shows on December 29 and 30

Join us for the 45th Louisville Boar’s Head and Yule Log Festival, a musical pageant celebrating the arrival of the Christ child and the triumph of good over evil.

Amidst caroling, dancing, festivities, sumptuous food, exotic gifts, and help for the poor and needy, this feast for the eyes pleases ears as well with favorite seasonal carols and hymns. A small child dressed as a medieval Sprite opens the performance bearing a candle that symbolizes Christ as the light of the world. The festival culminates with the full cast, choir, and congregation singing Gustav Holst’s “Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence” and the carol “O Come All Ye Faithful,” accompanied by brass and organ. A prelude including choral and instrumental music of the season begins each festival. Professional musicians and performers from around the community and extended region join with some 300 St. Paul members in creating this gift to the city each year.
