2021 St. Paul UMC Boar’s Head Festival Canceled!

The difficult decision has been made to cancel all performances of the 2021 Louisville Boar’s Head and Yule Log Festival.

We sincerely regret this decision, but due to recent illness and Covid exposures, many of our performers are now unable to participate.

We wish you a wonderful holiday season and a happy new year. We hope you will look for us next year! ”

It’s not too late to make a contribution to support this year’s performance. You may send in a check, or donate here: https://giving.ncsservices.org/app/giving/saintpaul

Due to Covid, the candlelight dinner will not be held this year.

2021 Performance Showtimes and Tickets

All performances canceled for 2021.

About the Festival
Shows on December 29, 30, and 31

Join us for the 42nd Louisville Boar’s Head and Yule Log Festival, a musical pageant celebrating the arrival of the Christ child and the triumph of good over evil.

Amidst caroling, dancing, festivities, sumptuous food, exotic gifts, and help for the poor and needy, this feast for the eyes pleases ears as well with favorite seasonal carols and hymns. A small child dressed as a medieval Sprite opens the performance bearing a candle that symbolizes Christ as the light of the world. The festival culminates with the full cast, choir, and congregation singing Gustav Holst’s “Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence” and the carol “O Come All Ye Faithful,” accompanied by brass and organ. A prelude including choral and instrumental music of the season begins each festival. Professional musicians and performers from around the community and extended region join with some 300 St. Paul members in creating this gift to the city each year.
