Welcome Rev. Darren Brandon

Welcome Rev. Darren Brandon

Rev. Darren Brandon joins the St. Paul staff in June!

On Sunday, June 25, Rev. Darren Brandon will begin as St. Paul’s Senior Pastor. He was appointed to St.  Paul by Bishop Leonard Fairley in spring 2017 and follows Rev. Gary Gibson in the position. Rev. Darren most recently served as the Senior Pastor at Settle Memorial United Methodist Church in Owensboro, Kentucky, where he has served since 2010. He has also served in several locations in Kentucky, including in Franklin, Berea, Bardstown, as well as the District Superintendent in Columbia.

In addition to welcoming Rev. Darren, St. Paul also welcomes his family — his wife, Lori, and two daughters, Dea and Abby. Abby is a graduate of Murray State University and is conducting her student teaching in the JCPS system this fall. Dea is a recent graduate student of Memphis Theological Seminary. Dea is now Dea Wathen and her husband is David and their son is Davis Wathen who is 3 months old

The St. Paul staff is extremely excited to begin working with Rev. Darren and are looking forward to his energy, enthusiasm, and guidance. Everyone is invited to give a warm welcome to Rev. Darren and his family on his first Sunday as the Senior Pastor on Sunday, June 25. Make plans to attend one of the three worship services, 8:30, 9:00, or 11:00am to say hello! Rev. Darren will preach during all three worship services.
