Announcing a New Team!

JOIN A NEW TEAM

Every child of God possesses a particular gift that has the potential to increase the joy and hope in the world.

The ministry and mission at St. Paul does not happen through the efforts of a single person, but instead through many people serving on many teams. Every worship service, every youth group, every dinner is a result of many spirit-filled individuals combining their gifts and working together in order to further develop God’s kingdom. We invite everyone to use the gifts they have been given in a way that increases the vibrancy of the church and spreads God’s light.

If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully. – ROMANS 12:6-8

To strengthen and expand the ministry at St. Paul, a new team, the Congregational Care Team, will be added! This new team exists for the purpose of visiting our church family members who are no longer able to attend worship with us here at St. Paul.

On Sunday, November 12, 12:30-2:30pm,, St. Paul Church hosts a training event for all congregation members who are interested in joining the Congregational Care Team in McAdams Hall. Rev. Ron Sauer will lead a training based on his decades of experience in congregational care and pastoral counseling. This training will equip team members with the necessary skills to effectively offer support for all those whom they will visit.
