How long does the performance last?
The performance lasts approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Is there assigned seating?
No, all seating is general admission. Doors open 30 minutes prior to the performance time.
I do not like crowds. Which performance is likely to have the most people?
The first performance, December 29th at 5:30pm, typically has the largest audience.
If a performance is canceled due to weather or other circumstances, how will I find out?
Check our website and the Boar’s Head Festival Facebook page (facebook.com/BoarsHeadFestLouisville).
Is the Boar’s Head Festival for all ages?
Yes! However, children under 5 may find it challenging to maintain interest. The first 20 minutes of the show offers a performance of Christmas favorites by the St. Paul Chancel Choir. Then, the pageantry begins, featuring cast members as young as 5 years old.
Is there a handicapped accessible entrance?
Yes, enter through the glass doors at the back of the main church building and take the elevator to the second floor.
Where do I park?
St. Paul has ample parking down the alley next to the church. Limited street parking is also available. The small parking lot behind the main building (enter off Douglass Blvd) offers handicapped-accessible parking.
Is there a dinner this year?
No, we will not have dinners, but there will be a reception after each performance where you can enjoy wassail and desserts. There will be opportunities to mingle and meet members of the cast, as well as have your picture taken with the Boar and cast members!
