St. Paul’s Fifth Stop Human Trafficking conference will focus on modern-day human trafficking, which leverages digital technology to exploit victims.
Registration begins at 9:00am and conference starts at 9:30am.

Jaime Thompson, MSSW
Director of Programs
People Against Trafficking Humans (PATH) Coalition of Kentucky
Jaime Thompson, MSSW is a professional social worker committed to serving marginalized, oppressed, abused, and exploited humans. Jaime has worked in the areas of child welfare, child sexual abuse treatment and prevention, human trafficking, family support, trauma-informed practices and approaches, social justice advocacy, and social work education. In these areas Jaime has worked in various roles including direct service provider, trainer, facilitator, researcher, program director, college instructor, writer, and youth advocate. Jaime collaborates with a plethora of other advocates, colleagues and groups to advance social justice and anti-trafficking work in Kentucky. Jaime has deep experience addressing exploitation of children, young people, and adults. Jaime promotes and guides others in a leading role by adopting an equity lens in change efforts connected to
policies, practices, and decision-making connected to strategically marginalized groups.
Teena Robinson-Halbig
UNA-USA KY
Teena Robinson – Halbig graduated from the University of Louisville (UofL) B.S. and UofL Certificate in Medical Technology: MT (ASCP) accredited; Microbiologist; Virology trained at CDC; UofL Cytogenetics, Pediatric Dept. Hematology/Oncology Bone Marrow Transplantation and became a successful entrepreneur as an artist and author.
While leading many UNA-USA KY Division Human Trafficking Conferences with partners, including Rotary, to bring more Awareness and Prevention, it was 2017 when then Attorney General Andy Beshear created the KY Statewide Human Trafficking Task Force; Teena still serves on the Prevention & Awareness/Prevention & Education Committee in 2026.
In 2024, Teena sought a bill on Sexual Extortion/Sextortion which could lead to trafficking persons and/or pornography but was causing teen suicides (mostly BOYS). Teena formed the KY Sextortion Coalition in 2024 which expanded in 2025 when the bill was re-filed by sponsor, Senator Julie Adams, in the 2025 KY General Assembly. Surprisingly, every vote was YES; therefore, SB73 was signed by Governor Andy Beshear 3-12-25. Teena coordinated a special free Sextortion meeting June 27, 2025, 10:00 A.M. at Paul Sawyier Library in Frankfort, KY held by KY Statewide Human Trafficking Task Force to show her power point to law enforcement and organizations. Teena coordinated the fall Conference hosted by United Nations Association of the USA Kentucky Division on Oct. 27, 2025 focused on Modern Day Exploitation: Human Trafficking & Sexual Extortion/Sextortion & Pornography in Louisville, KY with co-sponsors in honor of UN Day and UN Human Rights Day. As Immediate Past President of United Nations Association of the USA Kentucky Division, she was Mistress of Ceremonies and coordinator for the conference. KY First Lady Britainy Beshear, Attorney General Deputy Commissioner, and legislators as well as CEO of Polaris, Human Trafficking Fellow, and more professionals and experts spoke.
She is working with UNA-USA San Francisco where SB73 can be used as a model by California – also UNA-USA in Florida. Another Coalition organization is working with W.Va. to use the KY legislation. Teena has been giving zoom presentations and in person at Universities, etc.
And she advocates for very young children (3-6 years of age) to be better able to protect themselves via Good Pictures, Bad Pictures, Jr. book available at all KY Public Libraries thanks to Rotary Club of Louisville Suburban (RCLS). Teena is currently getting books via a Rotary grant into all KY Courthouses in 2026. The book is also available on Amazon.
Teena will be working on more legislation in 2026 which includes a GROOMING LAW, a law to have animal control officers trained in child abuse, and more! In past years, she has received THREE National UNA-USA ADVOCACY AWARDS.
Jennifer Beagle
Founder and President of Her Hope Kentucky
Jennifer Beagle is originally from Gainesville, FL and now lives in Kentucky. She travels and shares her story of God’s perfect plan, unfailing love, and redemption. Jennifer is a survivor of sex trafficking and childhood sex abuse. She has been the founder of three non-profit organizations and has mentored hundreds of men and women out of destructive lifestyles. She was the founder of the House of Hope for women in Gainesville, FL, a 14 bed residential facility. Jennifer is currently Founder and President of Her Hope Kentucky, a ministry to teenage and adult women coming out of destructive lifestyles.
Having once been on North Central Florida’s most wanted list with a reward for her capture, she now has been in Gainesville’s “Home Magazine,” voted number 7 of “Gainesville’s Top 25 Most Interesting People” and nominated for the “Gainesville Spirit Award.” Jennifer has also won the prestigious and highest National FBI Award in 2017 “FBI’s Director’s Community Leadership Award” which is an award given by Washington DC’s FBI Directors. Most recently, Jennifer’s story of being trafficked herself was featured on CBN’s The 700 Club.
Jennifer uses her voice of “NEVER GIVE UP” to encourage others that they too can press through the hard circumstances of life and become someone great! Jennifer has traveled all around the world telling her story of redemption, which will have you laughing and crying all in the same breath.
