SPAMS Diaper Drive Fundraiser

SPAMS Diaper Drive Fundraiser
January 1-31, 2023

MIHOW (Mothers and Infants Health Outreach Workers) at Henderson Settlement in southeastern Kentucky, is a program that was started several years ago by Vanderbilt University to help mothers and infants in Appalachian areas. St. Paul UMC has supported this program by supplying diapers, wipes, and clothing for children.

During the month of January, the St. Paul Adult Ministries for Senior (SPAMS) will be collecting diapers for the MIHOW (Maternal Infant Health Outreach Workers) program at Henderson Settlement. This program works with expectant mothers in the areas of education and care of newborn babies and toddlers.

Most needed sizes: 3, 4, 5, 6, and Pull-ups

Baby wipes and blankets are also needed.

Our plan is to deliver a van load of diapers at the end of the month.

Diapers can be dropped off in the blue bins in the lobbies of either building.

Thank you for your contributions.
Please call BJ or Ray Fore (502-458-2702) or Glenda Young (742-1022) with questions.
