SPAMS Diaper Drive Fundraiser
January 1-31, 2021
As we have experienced, 2020 has been a year of changes. The 2021 Diaper Drive for MIHOW is one of those changes.
MIHOW (Mothers and Infants Health Outreach Workers) at Henderson Settlement in southeastern Kentucky, is a program that was started several
years ago by Vanderbilt University to help mothers and infants in Appalachian areas. St. Paul UMC has supported this program by supplying diapers, wipes, and clothing for children. Last February, we delivered 4833 diapers, 12,133 wipes, and $495 to the program.
For our January 1- January 31 diaper drive, we ask that you make donations of cash, check (made out to St. Paul UMC), or Amazon gift cards. These can be sent to St. Paul and labeled for the diaper drive. Online donations can be made here (please choose Mission Fund and type “diaper drive” in the notes section). At the end of January, we will use these contributions to order diapers to be delivered to MIHOW at Henderson Settlement for this essential program that helps so many families in southeastern Kentucky.
Thank you for your contributions.
