During the month of August, St. Paul will be raising funds to support the work of the Open Door Community Ministry at Fourth Ave United Methodist Church, located at 318 W. St. Catherine Street, in the heart of Old Louisville.
The Open Door Community Ministry has been providing meals for those in need five days per week since the 1990s. Every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, a group of dedicated volunteers prepare and serve lunch to 50-100 people in the Old Louisville neighborhood.
To help Open Door continue this important work, St. Paul will be collecting funds to assist with the costs of food, maintenance, and equipment repair/replacement.
