Wednesdays 7:00pm starting September 12, 2018 | Room 100
Violent communication is any form of communication which results in hurt or harm, according to Dr. Marshall B. Rosenberg, author of the book “Nonviolent Communication: A Language of Life.” As followers of Jesus, we believe in abundant life for all people. We seek to follow his example of being peacemakers in a world of conflict. Exploring non-violent communication, in connection with race, class, gender, and intersectional discrimination, is how we will begin our task of making peace in our community and our world. Join us to study Dr. Rosenberg’s book and discuss the ways in which we can truly be peacemakers.
Starting September 12, we will meet Wednesday nights at 7pm in room 100. Everyone is welcome. Books are available for purchase at the information center for $15.
