You are pouring yourself out for others … your work, your family, the very young or the very old, loved ones who struggle with mental or physical illness …
do you sometimes forget to take care of yourself?
You feel compassion for the world’s suffering …
do you sometimes forget to give yourself compassion?
This retreat is a gift to you! This retreat is designed for your enjoyment, inspiration, and relaxation. You will also be encouraged to commit to new ways to avert burnout and take better care of yourself.
Invite your caregiver friends to join us as well!
Friday evening begins with a homemade soup and bread supper, followed by an opportunity for sharing of your own story and listening to others.
Saturday includes a light breakfast, a potluck lunch, and opportunities for more creative storytelling, journaling, music, group art, and guided imagery. This is for you, whether you believe you are creative or not!
Register at the Information Center or by calling the church office by February 17.
The retreat is free but a limited number of spots are available — so register early!
Child care available if requested by February 10. List any dietary restrictions when registering. Freewill offerings are appreciated.
